"YOU ARE AN AMBASSADOR OF YOUR GOD, FAMILY AND NYSC"-ADEGOKE TELLS CORPS MEMBERS

 

The State Coordinator of NYSC Osun State, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has told the 2020 Batch B Stream 1B corps members to be ambassadors of God, their Family and the NYSC in order to live a successful and grace filled life. 

The NYSC boss stated this during the morning mass at the Nigerian Association of Catholic Corps Members Fellowship center at the NYSC permanent orientation camp Ede, On Sunday. 

According to Mr Adegoke, obedience to rules and regulations is a factor that leads one to success as he charged the corps members to respect the rules of the NYSC scheme in order to have a successful service year.

He further told them that COVID-19 is real and they should endeavor to adhere to the COVID-19 preventive protocols even at their places of primary assignment. 

In a related development Adegoke charged the corps members at the Nigeria Christian Corpers fellowship( NCCF) to be true sons of Jesus Christ,for true son abides by rules and regulations, not only of his father but the constituted authority. 

He then urged them to always observe COVID -19 safety measures during and after the orientation exercise.

In addition, he told them to work for God and be an Ambassador of Christ for reward awaits anyone who promotes the work of God. 

He equally encouraged them to  endeavor to do good and treat everyone around them right. 

"Work for Christ and touch people's lives positively because your reward starts from this earth", he added.  

Conclusively, he appreciated the Staff advisers and corps members that coordinated the two fellowships today and  wished them a successful service year.
