DR ABIODUN DONATES NEEDLE DESTROYING MACHINE TO NYSC OSUN

 

A Medical Doctor from Ojuolape Hospital and Maternity Center, Erin-Osun, Dr Abiodun Boladale has on Friday donated a needle destroying machine to NYSC Osun.

According Dr Abiodun, managing medical waste is one of the most difficult and challenging task especially during this period of COVID-19 that requires utmost carefulness.

"The machine was developed to destroy and manage the risk of getting infected through used medical needles", he said.

He further stated that the machine is energy saving and destroys used needles fast with less stress.

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke appreciated the doctor for his kind gesture, stressing that the machine will go a long way in helping the clinic to effectively destroy used needles in order to reduce the danger and risk posed by the medical waste.
