The NYSC Motto Remains Service and Humility- Mr Jimmy Fatogun

The 2020 Batch B stream 1A Camp Director, Mr Jimmy Fatogun has reminded corps members that NYSC motto remains Service and Humility.

He stated this while addressing the Corps members during the Morning Meditation on Thursday at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

The Camp Director charged the corps members to observe good behaviors and always remember that NYSC is focused on inculcating the spirit of discipline, selfless humanitarian service,  humility and self-reliance.

He further emphasized on the need for corps members to learn new skills during  and after the orientation course and ensure that their lives don't remain the same after the orientation course.

Also speaking at the morning meditation, the Head of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, Mrs Femi-Ajayi Olufunmilayo admonished them to choose a skill in line with their passion and not change skill after short time of learning but that they should endeavour to complete the training, stressing that the SAED program is flexible in their operations and they are always willing to teach the Corps members and ensure that the corps members learn effectively.

Subsequently, Alhaji Suleiman Abiodun of the ICT unit  while taking the ICT nuggets, enlightened the members on the online registration process and portal.

"Ensure the name on your Statement of result corresponds with that on your Call-up  letter", he concluded.

Highlights of the meditation further includes: sensitisation on infectious diseases and celebration of corps members birthday.
