Standard Organization of Nigeria Sensitize Corps Members on Product Quality

 

The Representative of Standard Organization of Nigeria, (SON), Mrs Onyiyeme Olashige  has on Thursday Enlightened the 2020 Batch B stream 1A  Corps Members  on product quality. 

The lecture took place at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.

 Mrs Onyiyeme emphasized on the need for  youths to always work towards great standards in order to reach the expectation  of the world's demand today.

"We believe that standard products are safe products and youths should endeavor to work towards quality products", she added. 

"As  corps  members you should ensure that every product must be of  great standard in order to reach the expectation  of consumers because standard of a product produced is based on the satisfaction of the consumers, therefore work towards quality and not quantity", she said.

Meanwhile she intimated corps members on the benefits of standardization which boost productivity, increases job opportunities, decreases ambiguity and guesswork, enhance the growth of a nation and minimizes waste.

She further  urged the  Corps  members to ensure that Nigeria is not a dumping ground and strive in making Nigeria a great nation.
