Obedience to Constituted Authority is an Hallmark of Sonship - Adegoke

 

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has charged the 2020 Batch B stream 1a prospective corps members to be law abiding and obedient to constituted authority describing it as the hallmark of sonship. 

Adegoke gave the charge at the interdenominational service at the Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship center at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Sunday. 

Speaking on the fellowship's camp theme ''the Emergence of Sons" taken from Romans8:14,19, Adegoke admonished corps members and staff in attendance to ensure total compliance to the NCDC protocols as directed. 

"as Christians, we must be law abiding and ensure we obey constituted authority as exemplified to us by Christ Jesus. 

"as sons of God,  we must not be rebellious nor disregard the protocols put in place to ensure our safety. We should ensure the proper use of our facemasks, proper hand hygiene and social distancing as only the living can serve God" he said. 

He further encouraged them to be committed to God and His service and to exhibit qualities and characteristics that reflects true sons of God as the preacher has said in his sermon. 

He reminded them of the state coordinator's briefing coming up in the evening.
