NYSC Osun COVID-19 Committee Sensitizes Volunteers on Virus Prevention and Control

 

The Officials of the COVID-19 Monitoring and Enforcement Team have sensitized the NCDC Corps members volunteers on COVID-19 prevention and control.

The sensitization took place at the multipurpose hall of the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede, on Friday.

 Representative of the NCDC and member of IPC, Ayoola Ademola who championed the sensitization, enlightened the Corps members on the various guidelines and preventive measures in line with NCDC protocols.

Mr Ayoola demonstrated the proper ways of wearing the facemask , Washing of the hands, and wearing of gloves in order to prevent the virus. 

He also urged the volunteers to ensure that they participate actively in the fight against the deadly COVID-19 by educating those around them, including those at their places of primary assignment and their host communities.

Also speaking at the training, the State Coordinator of the NYSC Osun State,  Mr Ayodele Adegoke appreciated the Corps members who volunteered and encouraged them to remain good ambassadors of their family and society.

He further reminded them that COVID-19 is real and that they should endeavour to change the negative notions and mindset of the people around them who still do not believe in the existence of the COVID-19. 

Present at the sensitization are: the Camp Director,  Mr Jimmy Fatogun; Head of Accommodation,  Mrs Okpalifo Obiageli; the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Funmi Okundaye; Head of Camp Clinic, Dr Abiona Abiodun; and other camp officials.
