NCDC Surveillance Officer Charges Corps Members to Keep Adhering to NCDC Guidelines

 


The Surveillance Officer, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Mr Stephen Ohuneni in his covid-19 sensitisation lecture at the Permanent Orientation Camp,Ede, charged the 2020 Batch B Stream 1A Corps members to keep adhering to the NCDC guidelines in order to stay safe and also keep everyone around  them safe.

Addressing the corps members on Tuesday, Mr Ohuneni urged Corps members to also participate in ensuring that everyone around them stays safe by educating them on the COVID-19 guidelines. 


He highlighted the guidelines and preventive measures as stated by the NCDC which includes proper washing of hands or use of alcohol based sanitiser, adhering to social distancing and regular use of the face mask. 

Conclusively, he congratulated the corps members on their successful low key swearing-in on Monday and disclosed that Osun state NYSC have not recorded any case of COVID-19 so far.
