"Education is Incomplete without a Skill"- Mr Oyekanmi tells Corps members
The representative of NDE, Mr Oyekanmi Rasaq has charged the 2020 Batch B stream 1A Corps members to acquire a skill, stressing that education is incomplete without a skill.
He stated this on Wednesday while taking the corps members through the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) lecture at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.
In his lecture, Rasaq said that the solution to unemployment scourge in the country is Entrepreneurship.
" SAED is the solution to the increase in unemployment and underemployment in the economic sectors of the country ", he added.
In addition, Mr Bamidele Gbenga of the National Directorate of Employment, who also spoke at the lecture, admonished the corps members to tap into their innovative ability and generate good business ideas.
He further, helped the Corps members to understand the key principles of starting a business during the lecture.
Subsequently, Mrs Fabuluje Lydia also educated the Corps members on the process of taking loans and how to properly manage the loan to avoid business failure.
She concluded by explaining to the Corps members the process and benefit of spending money wisely.
"Unwise spending leads to bankruptcy, therefore be wise in your spending", she concluded.
