Most of Us are COVID-19 Reservoirs and can be Transmitting Without Knowing- Mr Ayoola Educates Corps members

 




Mr Ayoola Ademola,  Infection and Prevention Control (IPC) member of the Osun State Covid-19 team,  has educated the 2020 Batch B stream 1A corps members on the need to apply precautionary measures that will prevent the spread of COVID-19.

He made this known while sensitising the members on covid-19 at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Wednesday. 

Mr Ayoola urged the Corps members on the need to reduce the way they carelessly come in contact with other people regardless of their relationship with them. 

"COVID-19 is real and the mode of transmission is very easy"  he stated.


He further enlightened them on COVID-19 stating that the virus can be transmitted through the portals of entrance and exits in the human body which includes, eyes, Mouth, Nose.

"The human body is a reservoir for the diseases, that is why we emphasize on adhering to the preventive protocols to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 Pathogens", he added. 

In Conclusion, he admonished the corps members on the need to believe the existence of the COVID-19 virus, stressing that so many people have died from the virus and so many infections and recovery have been recorded as well.
