Corps Members Thrilled as they Experience Mind-Blowing Mr Macho and Miss NYSC Contest

 

The 2020 Batch B stream 1A corps members were on Saturday thrilled as they witnessed the emergence of the Mr Macho and Miss NYSC for the 2020 Batch B stream 1A orientation programme at the Permanent Orientation  Camp,  Ede, Osun State. 

The  Variety Nite/Contest is part of  the social activities on camp which creates a platform for self realization, actualisation, confidence building and wholesome integration among the corps members. 

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke during his opening remarks urged the Corps members to have fun but endeavour to do it in line with the NCDC COVID-19 guidelines.

He further told the competitors that it is a fair game and everyone is a winner at the end.

"This is not a fight but an entertaining competition and everyone is a winner at the end", he added.

The Contest which was sponsored by the Nigerian Breweries Ltd featured platoon 1 to 8 as they come out in their various regalia for their stage appearance respectively.

After an amazing first, second and third appearance, question and answer segment by the platoon representatives, the unbiased judges who observed critically and undistracted announced platoon 5 winner of Mr Macho and Platoon 4 Miss NYSC.

Other Highlights of the event includes; Music performance, Comedy, card tricks and dance.

 Also, all contestants went away smiling as gifts such as LED-Tv,  microwave oven and standing fan were given to the first,  second and third place respectively for both categories, while blenders, lamps, hair clippers for men and hand dryers for ladies were given as consolation prizes to the 4th, 5th and 6th to 8th position respectively.
