Ambekemo inspects NYSC Osun State Camp Facilities, Commends Management and Camp Officials
The Nysc Osun state management and camp officials have been commended by Mrs Funke Ambekemo, a deputy director from the National Directorate headquarters.
The commendation was made when she visited the ongoing 2020 Batch B stream 1A orientation course at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Wednesday for inspection as part of the scheme's way of ensuring the welfare of course participants and ascertaining the conditions of camp facilities.
The state coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke welcomed the deputy director and also appreciated the directorate headquarters for their support.
Mrs Ambekemo inspected the clinics, kitchen and hostels and expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness and orderliness observed in the facilities visited.
She commended the clinic staff while inspecting the clinic facilities and also encouraged them to keep up the good work of ensuring the health and wellbeing of corps members and camp officials on camp. She further commended the management for ensuring strict compliance with the NCDC guidelines which she observed right from the gate where she was made to wash her hands and pass through the ultraviolet disinfectant tunnel before gaining entrance into the orientation camp.
Addressing the heads of collaborating agencies, platoon leaders and hostel governors/governess, she appealed to them to keep up the spirit of harmony and teamwork to ensure the success of the orientation exercise.
She expressed her satisfaction while applauding the state coordinator and his team for the satisfactory condition of the camp environment and the excellent welfare of the Corps members.
