"Adherence to Rules and Regulations is Wisdom"- Camp Director Tells Prospective Corps Members

The Camp Director of the 2020 Batch B stream 1A orientation course, Mr Ayibiowu Felix, has on Thursday charged the prospective corps members at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede. 

The camp director who was ably represented by the deputy camp director Alhaji Ajayi Waheed, urged the prospective Corps members to adhere strictly to the laid down rules and regulations guiding all activities on camp, reminding them that the NYSC orientation camp is a highly regimented place. According to him, obedience and adherence to rules and regulations is a display of maturity and wisdom. 

He implored all prospective Corps members to be law abiding and respectful towards all camp officials. He also reminded of the need to obey all COVID 19 protocol as laid down by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), such as the washing of hands at designated hand washing points provided for at strategic locations in the camp, the use of face masks and physical distancing.

He concluded, by assuring the corps members of peaceful and coherent stay in camp, stating that the NYSC in partnership with the NCDC has put in their best to ensure the safety of the prospective corps members and everyone in the orientation camp.
