Proverbs are an integral part of African culture. Passed on from
generation to generation for centuries, they are still in wide use today and
are very much part of everyday speech.
Proverbs are used to illustrate ideas, reinforce arguments and
deliver messages of inspiration, consolation, celebration and advice.
Below are proverbs Originated from Africa and are full of wisdom.
Many of them are short but contain wisdom that can be applied to daily life.
They have provided motivation and guidance to many over the years. You may find
yourself thinking about the short sentence only to realize the truth that some
few words can mean.

Every Culture has its share of wise proverbs or saying usually a single
sentence passed down from one generation to the next while these sayings may

inspirational sayings, many of which provide a captivating insight into the rich and vibrant culture that crafted them.
