CORPS MEMBER EQUIPS SCHOOL WITH MODERN FACILITIES
In a bid to foster the practical learning of information communication technology in Nigerian Schools, a corps member serving in the State of Osun, Oladapo Damilola Aloyebi, with code number, OS/19B/0101, has equipped the Community Middle School, Ikoyi with modern facilities.
Miss Oladapo on Friday donated a laptop, two desktop computers, and a generator set to the school located in the Isokan Local Government Area of the state. According to her, effective learning of ICT can only be done practically which is why she embarked on the project.
Some packs of sanitary pads were also distributed by the corps member to female students of the school to promote personal hygiene and good health among them.
The gesture was a personal project carried out by the corps member and was commissioned at the school's premises.
While recieving the donations, the Vice Principal, Mrs Ogunwunmi appreciated the corps member for the gracious donation, while assuring of the judicious use of the items. Also present during the commissioning was the Zonal Inspector representing the SC, Mr. Alo Emmanuel and the Local Government Inspector of Isokan LGA, Mr. Aderigbigbe Kazeem.
