SAED Branch, Trainers Stage Awareness Campaign Ahead Monday's Opening Ceremony
The awareness rally which took place on Saturday saw staff of the Branch and trainers come out enmasse to sensitize the corps members on the importance of the SAED programme and why they should actively participate in both the in-camp and post-camp training of the programme.
Speaking at the event, the Camp Director who doubles as the Head of SAED, Mrs. Femi-Ajayi Oluwafunmilayo encouraged the trainers to help the corps members to develop optimum skills that will sustain them during and after the service year.
She further urged them to develop a heart of hospitality and friendship that will accommodate the corps members and help them build capacities that will empower them to identify opportunities in creating wealth from situations around them.
Femi-Ajayi further enlightened the corps members that the programme will teach them how to cultivate the culture of entrepreneurship, identify business skills and opportunities, gather information on funding opportunities, and provide technical assistance.
