NYSC: NEMA CDS SENSITIZES STUDENTS ON COVID-19
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Comnunity Development Service of the National youth Service Corps, has recently sensitized students of our Lady and St Francis Catholic College Osogbo on the recent outbreak of Corona virus.
The group's president, Mr Larry Keremu Onos while disclosing he essence of the sensitization, noted that 'corona virus' is a group of viruses that come together to infect the human respiratory organs, as he highlighted it's detrimental effects on human's health.
Keremu also stressed the need for the students to be safety conscious during this critical times and exposed possible symptoms of the virus which should be looked out for.
"The World Health Organization have decided that not everyone should use the mask but only the infected and those taking care of the infected" he added.
Accordingy,the team painstakingly enilightened the students to be proactive while tackling the menace as they highlighted several preventive measures to be taken in order to tackle the outspread of the menace.
Meanwhile, Keremu while appreciating the school's management for the opportunity given, made it known that some vaccines have been given by the world health organization which are still in the lab as there is no no vaccine to prevent corona virus currently.
