COVID-19: NYSC Osun Sensitizes Corps Members On The Prevention Of The Disease
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Osun State has sensitized the 2020 Batch ‘A’ stream 1 corps members on the prevention of the epidemic disease, Coronavirus.
The corps members were sensitized during Friday's early morning meditation at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.
Speaking at the assembly, the facilitator who doubles as a Family Medicine Consultant, Dr. Adewunmi educated the corps members on the prevention of the trajectory projection of Coronavirus epidemic. He added that this pandemic disease can be prevented if certain measures can be put into practise.
Dr. Adewunmi disclosed that prevention include; washing of hands thoroughly both through the fingers and nails for about 20 seconds, good respiratory hygiene, and avoidance of sharing of sanitary materials with people.
He also concluded that the corps members should make use of sanitary equipment which includes hand sanitizers, antiseptics, and mini tank available for them on the orientation camp.
