CORPS MEMBERS RESUCITATE DILAPIDATED PUBLIC LIBRARY IN OKE ILA, OSUN
Corps members of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) CDS group serving at Ifedayo LGA have resuscitated a dilapidated public library in Oke Ila community in the State of Osun.
The group also furnished the library with books.
On the essence of the project, the group stated that the gesture was in order to save the dying culture of reading among the youths and grant students free access to textbooks which will aid their academic performance.
The library which was last renovated by a corps member, Omatedjor Vivian since 2014, was finally renovated, breaking the jinx of non execution of projects by corps members in Ifedayo LGA.
Appreciating the gesture, students and members of the community expressed their elation, commending them for a well achieved feat.
