EDITORIAL BOARD CDS TRANSFERS LEADERSHIP MANTLE
For more effectiveness in administration, the editorial board CDS has transferred the mantle of leadership to her new executives, saddled with the responsibility of piloting the board's affairs.
The mantle of leadership has always been transferred to foster effective and efficient administrative while approaching the expiration of the previous executive's service year.
Mrs. Catherine Otemuyiwa who conducted the handover section, applauded the outgoing executives led by Anderson Unogu for a well-patterned administration, as she urged the new executives to learn and perform even better than their predecessors..
Meanwhile, the new set of executives ushered in, were announced to be led by The Editor, Mr. Akinkumi and the Deputy Editor, Faith Marshal.
Accordingly, other officials were duly introduced as General Secretary: Amadi Prosperline, Welfare: Mr. Confidence, Features Editor: Miss Eberechi, Chief correspondence Mr. Oliver Nkpoikana, News Editor: Mr. Toba, Business Editor: Mistura, Welfare, Clarion call: Faith Akintola, Ajuaya presenter: Miss Wunmi, Media Director: Onome Ezekiel, Social Media Director: Favour Ose, Assistant Social MD: Adenitan Joseph, Production: Akor Eneojo and Provost: Osinowo Bukunwa.
The outgoing Editor, Mr. Anderson appreciated the efforts of all board members which in turn led to tell the success of his administration. He further urged the new executives to continue with the good foundation being laid.
In reaction, the Editor Mr. Akinkumi while giving his acceptance speech, thanked the scheme for seeing him and other executives worthy of leadership positions. He stressed that for every goal to be achieved, every hand must be on deck, irrespective of being an executive or not as he further urged all board members to imbibe the spirit of discipline.
Meanwhile, Mr. Akinkumi acknowledged the efforts of the past executives while assuring them that their efforts would never be in vain. "You've left a legacy and we must maintain it" he concluded.
Mr Anderson has always being an active personality right from camp. Thank you Sir Anderson for a well led tenure.
