CDS Storms Ilesa, Encourages Corps Members to Impart Positively on Host Community
The Community Development Service and Special Project Branch of NYSC Osun State paid an unscheduled visit to Ilesa zone in order to inspect the CDS activities of corps members in the zone and to ensure strict compliance with the scheme's guidelines for CDS.
The Branch Head, Mr Kayode Ola-Peters stated that the unscheduled inspection became necessary in order to ensure the vibrancy and effectiveness of the CDS in the various local governments and zones across the state.
Further addressing corps members in the zone, Kayode advised corps members to add value to themselves by leaving a lasting legacy in their host community. "This can be achieved if you identify the felt needs of your host community and proffer solutions to such" he added.
He admonished them to be prudent and honest in their dealings and that they should never be discouraged in whatever good they decide to do.
The branch also used the avenue to enlist corps members of the zone into the U-Report program.
