*State Coordinator Charges MCAN To Be Good Ambassadors*
The State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has charged the Muslims Corpers Association of Nigeria(MCAN) to be good ambassadors.
He gave the charge when he visited the members during the Jumaat service on Friday at the camp mosque, in Ede Osun State
Mr Ayodele in his words advised the muslim corps members to '' remember they are Ambassadors of Allah and so they are expected to do what is right''. He also added that they are ambassadors of NYSC here on camp and after the orientation exercise, and of their family, so it is required of them to obey all stipulated rules and regulations guiding the scheme and camp activities.
Mr Ayodele implored them to observe the dressing code and should put on their caps and code cards always.
He further pleaded with the them not to travel on the last day of the camp. In his words, "please my brethren especially those from the North, don't leave here that same day, this camp is still open, all of us cannot leave here on that 18th, you can pass the night and proceed on your journey to your new state of redeployment the following morning''.
The state coordinator also added that the Director General, Brig. Gen S.Ibrahim has warned against incessant travels and night journeys. In his words " the DG is telling you, which I am passing to you, we don't want incessant travels and night journeys, our roads are bad, we don't want to loose any of you''.
Mr Ayodele asserted that all corps members are important to NYSC and he enjoined them to obey the regulations of the communities they find themselves, since southwest values respect and courtesy.
In his final note, Mr Ayodele encouraged the muslim corps members to make good use of the SAED program as it is important and should be regarded as a PLAN B.
