NESREA CDS Sensitizes Students On The Importance Of Community Hygiene







The National Environmental Standard Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) CDS group from Olorunda Local Government has sensitized students on the importance of community hygiene.
This came up when the group of corps members visited L.A Adenle Middle School, Osogbo Osun State where the pupils were educated on the significance of practicing good hygiene at home, schools, religious centres, and their immediate surroundings.
The Facilitator, Mr. Nma Agwu while admonishing the students enlightened about the imperative activities including sweeping of classrooms, removal of drainage blockages, avoiding waste littering, and improper disposal of waste.
Speaking further, the co-speaker, Mr. Oluwaseyi also taught the folks on the essence of engaging in some personal hygienic practices which may include washing of hands after using the toilet, bathing twice a day, and eating a good diet, that is, balance diet.
In her closing remarks, the president of the CDS group, Miss Racheal Oriloye while stressing the importance of community hygiene also presented about four waste bins to the school on behalf of the CDS group. Meanwhile, the principal expressed her profound gratitude to the corps members for advocating for a sustainable and hygienic communities.
