Ife North Corps Members Organize Quiz Competition As Federal College Emerges Winner
In a bid to improve quality education, The Education Community Development Service (CDS) group, Ife North Local Government has organized a quiz and debate competition for secondary schools.
The competition which was held at the Local Government Secretariat Hall, Ipetumodu, Osun State gathered all the secondary schools from the area while the Federal Government Girls’ College emerged winner amidst the finalists.
The finalists which comprised of 6 schools both for junior and senior categories came from six different communities to demonstrate excellence in debate and spelling bee competition.
Meanwhile, the scholastic competition was honored by dignitaries including the Honorable Chairman of Ife North Local Government, Hon. Taiwo Hassan who presented the awards to the winners.
Finally, the Local Government Inspector, Mr. Rotimi Onatanda congratulated the participated schools, and ultimately the winners for proving outstanding excellence in all stages of the competition. However, he commended the corps members for the conscious efforts in improving the quality of education in the country.
