JEGEDE ENJOINS CORPS MEMBERS TO ENSURE PROPER DOCUMENTATION AT THEIR LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF POSTING
The Assistant Director Corps inspection and Monitoring NYSC Osun State, Mr Jegede Ayodele Rufus on Saturday admonished the 2019 batch C stream II corps members on the mode of inspection and monitoring of corps members throughout their service year in the state.
In his statement, Mr Jegede stated that '' the monitoring of corps members will be carried out by officials who will be visiting their place of primary assignment frequently to check their service delivery and also to ensure their welfare.
He went further to urge corps members to report to the place of their primary assignment as soon as they get their posting letter and ensure that they register their acceptance with the Local Government Inspector of their Local Government Area of service.
He furthermore said that ''travelling without proper documentation with your Local Government Inspector is the beginning of problem for you''. He made this statement while urging them to ensure they are properly documented at their local government and to always take proper permission and get approval before embarking on any journey.
In his final note, Jegede implored corps members to always be in their place of primary assignment so as not to be queried for negligence of duty.
He stressed further that the weekly community development service and the monthly Biometric clearance are some of the measures put in place to monitor corps members during the service year.
