The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) sensitised the Batch C stream II corps members at the multipurpose hall of the Orientation Camp in Ede,Osun State on Monday 9th of December, 2019.
The sensitization aimed at enlightening corps members the operations of the commission and on the roles of corps members in combating corruption in the society.
Barr. Kehinde Adetoye, the spokesperson for the commission enjoined all corps members to partner and help fight against corruption in Nigeria.The body which was established in 2000, to fight corrupt practices has been a check and balance to see to loop holes and corrupt practices at the helms of affairs.
According to Barr. Kehinde, ''Corruption affects every facets of life,ranging from the cradle to the top, in governance, security, employment,among others.
Further more, Barr. Kehinde stresses on the need for corps members not to get discouraged as the fight against corruption is not ''easy'', but in no time, the cancerous worm will be eradicated starting from the grassroots.
