“Pornographic Images Can Predispose You to Sexual Abuse”- SGV CDS Sensitizes Students
The Servicom and Gender Vanguard (SGV) CDS group of Olorunda Local Government has explained message of sex education to the students of Adenle Government Middle School, Osogbo, Osun State.
This came up when the corps members visited the school to sensitize the pupils on the essence of sex education which makes them less vulnerable to sexual harassment.
According to the group, “Avoid seeing pornographic images and being alone with opposite sex as teenagers, as this will arouse immature feelings and predispose you to sexual abuses”.
They further urged the students to abstain from premarital sex which may intrigue implications that will affect their dreams and destiny fulfillment.
In his remarks, the president of the group, Mr. Ahmed Fashola also advised that parents should engage their ward and children in sexuality teachings. He further encouraged everyone to be a vanguard of sex education, then teaching all teenagers the dangers of practicing premature sex.
