NYSC Osun State Coordinator Briefs PCMs, Admonishes Against Indiscipline

The Osun State National Youth Service Corps Coordinator,  Mr Ayodele Adegoke has charged Prospective Corps Members against any form of indiscipline.

He gave this charge while delivering a brief to the 2019 Batch C stream I Prospective Corps Members on Wednesday 6th November, 2019 at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

Mr. Adegoke said, "Discipline is our watchword here and we won't condone any form of indiscipline and unruly behaviours.

Mr Adegoke further said, "the camp is regimented and the timetable must be followed strictly. It takes discipline to follow all camp rules, therefore,  you must imbibe the virtues of discipline,  humility and dedication to duty. The bye-laws and hand books should be read and followed".

He also emphasized that illicit drugs, cultism, and unionism should be shunned as offenders will be sanctioned according to the bye-laws.

The Coordinator also highlighted the four cardinal programmes of the scheme, benefits of  scheme and the role of  corps members during and after the orientation course.

He also said the scheme prepares corps members for the task of nation building.
Speaking on the NYSC uniform,  Adegoke warned that no corps member should deface the NYSC uniform as this has become a very serious and punishable offence in the scheme.
He concluded by calling on the members to cooperate with the scheme in ensuring the achievement of the objectives of the orientation course and other phases of the service year.
