*Corps Members Erect Signpost that Promotes Healthy Environment*
In the pursuit to achieve sustainable environment, the corps members from Environmental Community Development Service (CDS) group, Iwo Local Government have erected a signpost that sensitizes about the significance of healthy environment at Odo Ori junction, Iwo Osun State.
The signpost which reveals the benefits of enhancing and more importantly, maintaining a healthy environment, has a tag which notes that, “The Cleanliness of Your Environment Fully Depends on You, The Cleaner You Are, The Healthier You Live”.
During the execution of the project, the corps members hinted that the there has been discriminate level of pollution in the surrounding communities, hence prompting them to take a proactive step in curbing the menace. They further stated that it is highly imperative for the members of the communities to promote the acts of environmental cleanliness.
The project which also aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the CDS group provides a fathomable information both in foreign and indigenous languages. Meanwhile, the signpost was erected in a strategic point where the information will be received by the general public.
