*Adegoke Purchases Over 200,000 Naira Worth Of Chairs For Corps Members, Solves Problem Of Flooding In The Male Staff Hostel
The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has purchased over 200000 naira worth of Altak chairs for use during orientation programmes in the State.
The State Coordinator made the purchase during the ongoing 2019 Batch C stream II orientation course at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.
The over 200,000 naira worth of chairs was bought to cater for the teeming number of corps members in the State and also to give relative comfort to corps members during camp activities such as lectures, socials, SAED, among others.
Mr Adegoke stressed that he had observed that the chairs in the camp were not really enough for the corps members deployed to the State and also that some of the ones on ground needed replacement due to wear and tear from constant use during orientation programmes.
Adegoke, who has been working towards creating a conducive environment for corps members and staff alike, further approved the construction of a drainage at the male staff quarters to solve the problem of flooding which had bedevilled the block since the construction of the orientation camp many years back.
He further approved the purchase of a befitting three seater to be used during ceremonial programmes of the scheme especially the swearing in and closing ceremonies of orientation programmes at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.
Corps members and staff alike have lauded the administration of Mr Adegoke whom they decribed as a God-fearing welfarist who does not only preach the gospel of peace, oneness and selfless service but exemplifies it through his actions.
