Synopsis of the meeting held with Zonal Inspector:(today Tuesday,22/10/2019)
*Corps members (especially batch A,B stream I &II )* are to start making plan towards personal project. They should start making efforts toward achieving this by consulting the LGI for proper guidelines
*That henceforth*, the latecomers to CDS meetings would not be entertained and would be made to face severe punishment.
*That the first 30minutes* of each CDS meeting would be held in combination, where all the CDS groups for that day will have a combined, at least 30minutes discussion regarding the ABCs of NYSC or any of the occasionally picked topics (to be done justice to by either a selected corps member from any of the groups or invited outsiders). As well as to use the avenue to enquire from the corps members the challenges they are facing in their respective PPAs, so as to be channelled to the appropriate quarters for redress.
*That the CDS would no longer be "a business as usual"* where some corps members would have their cards signed in proxy or stand aloof chatting and engaging in idle-talks without showing any concerns to the group discussions.
*And finally that the President of each CDS group has been given a delegated power to a greater extent* to start carrying out monitoring of their respective members in the area of defacing the NYSC dress code and other related offences. And the corps members are to be security conscious as well as avoiding unwarranted traveling.
