Say Yes To Life, No To Drug Abuse - Corps Members Sensitize General Public
The corps members belonging to the Drug Free Club from Irepodun Local Government have broadcasted the message of care to the public on the use of drugs and the corresponding impacts on human lives.
This happened when they erected a billboard tagged 'Say Yes To Life, No To Drug Abuse' which sensitizes about the types, effects and remedies for drug abuse at the Ojutu Ilobu roundabout, Ilobu Osun State.
The signpost being situated at a strategic point provides solutions to the subtle impacts of drug abuse in the society. Meanwhile, the names of some drugs including cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine, heroin to name a few, as well as their consequences such as addiction, liver damage, lung damage were highlighted on the signpost.
However, the team of corps Members went ahead to sensitize the communities, reaching out to everyone especially the youths and many teenagers, thereby enlightening them on the menace of drug abuse.
