Corps Members MInimize Traffic at Ilobu Junction
In the pursuit of national development,
the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) CDS group, Irepodun Local Government assisted the public to minimise traffic at the Ojotu bridge in Ilobu.
The action by the corps members came up as a result of the traffic that engulfs the route during Ifon market day, which consequently impedes the commercial activities in the area. Meanwhile, as trained members of the club, the corps members employed several professional methods to curb the social challenge.
In the same vein, the CDS group used different signs and equipment including red flag raised to stop any vehicle that wanted to trespass. The corps members also coordinated the traffic by applying Intelligence Transport Systems (ITS), which enhance the safety, security and reliability of the entire road management systems.
However, there were reactions from the drivers, showing positive dispositions to the development. The drivers commended the corps members for their humanitarian services and commitments to national development.
