"DO NOT DISGRACE YOUR FAMILIES AND THE NATION" Former Director Urges Osun Corps Members.
A Former Director of Press and Public Relations of the National Youth Service Corps, Mrs Abosede Aderigbibe has on Tuesday, 3rd September 2019 visited and charged the 2019 NYSC Batch B Stream II corps members in Osun State on the need to desist from illegal activities that would tarnish the reputation of their families and the National Youth Service Corps at large.
In her address, which was delivered at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, she stressed the need for corps members to exhibit good conduct and morals especially in thier places of primary assignments, as it brings rewards from employers and even the government.
Subsequently, she intimated the corps members on the need to aim for self development irrespective of the situation they find themselves, while stressing that it is possible to attain any level of success, “Do not disgrace your family, society and the nation" she added.
She further adviced the corps members to study the environment they are being posted to in order to enhance and make effective their period of stay, as well as enable them cope and live with indigenes in peace, harmony and unity.
In conclusion she admonished the corps members to be security conscious and always be there for each other during and after their service year, as she wished them a safe and profitable service year.
