OPERATION KEEP OBADA MARKET CLEAN
Selfless service they say is the cardinal principle of NYSC, this was displayed as corps members from the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Ikire, Irewole local government area, cleaned up the Obada market in their bid to contribute positively to the growth of their host community.
The sanitation which held at Obada market, in Ikire ,Irelowe local government area, was geared towards sensitizing traders and residents on the essence of maintaining a hygienic environment.
The President of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Mr Yinusa Abeeb, stated that the purpose of the sanitization program was to eradicate the outrage of cholera and sustain a germ free environment in the community.
In order to buttress their point, corps members carried placards that read inscriptions such as "Health is Wealth" , environmental hygiene cures all diseases " and cleanliness is next to godliness".
