ATTENDANCE AT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE IS COMPULSORY - Says Ola-Peters

The 1800 corps members registered for the 2019 Batch B stream II orientation course in Osun State have been charged to take attendance at community development service meetings seriously.

The charge was given at the early morning lectures for the batch by the Head of CDS,  Mr Kayode Ola-Peters at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Monday 26th August.

Kayode stressed that weekly attendance at CDS meetings is a compulsory requirements  the monthly Biometric clearance which qualifies a corps member for the payment of the monthly allowance.

He further enlightened the corps members on  the need to impact their host community by meeting the felt needs of the community either individually or as a group. The members were also enlightened on the objectives of the CDS,  how to identify felt needs of a community, steps to a successful project execution, among others.

Earlier,  Ola-Peters sensitised the corps members on U-report and led them through the process of enlistment as U-reporters.
