ADEGOKE CALLS FOR MORE ENGAGEMENT OF CORPS MEMBERS IN ENLIGHTENMENT PROGRAMMES
The Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Adegoke has appreciated the National Orientation Agency (NOA) for consistently honouring the scheme's invitations to the orientation programmes for the purpose of youth enlightenment and re-orientation on national core values and other related topics.
Adegoke made the statement during a courtesy visit to the National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Wednesday 7th August, 2019. He appreciated NOA for the audience granted him and his management team and stated that the NYSC scheme valued the relationship between NOA and NYSC adding that such visit will strengthen the bond and synergy between both organisations.
He further enjoined NOA to constantly engage corps members in its programmes whenever such arises in order to develop youth accountability and patriotism.
Meanwhile, the State Director of NOA, Mrs Beatrice Oluyomi Olaseinde who acknowledged the visit noted that the consistent invitation from NYSC was a means to educate the youths on salient issues in the society, adding that such invite is commendable and will not be taken for granted by the agency.
