NYSC STATE COORDINATOR SOLICITS MORE SUPPORT FROM THE STATE GOVERNMENT

The  NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Adegoke, Ayodele  Adewale has solicited for more support from the state government. Adegoke made the plea when he made a courtesy call on the Acting Chairman, NYSC State Governing Board and Coordinating Director, Ministry of Empowerment and Youth Engagement,  Dr Olatunbosun Awoyemi in his office in Osogbo on Monday 22nd July, 2019.

Adegoke expressed appreciation for what the Chairman was doing for the scheme especially in working towards making the scheme comfortable in the State.

Speaking on the challenges facing the scheme in the State, Adegoke solicited for the support of the Chairman in pressing home the request of the scheme for more government's support especially in tackling the challenges of a befitting office complex,  rehabilitation of delapidated structures at the Permanent Orientation Camp and completion of the 300-capacity hostel being built at the camp.

Correspondingly,  Dr Awoyemi who played host to the coordinator and his team acknowledged the respect accorded his ministry through the courtesy visit describing it as a true display of humility and respect.

He further assured the state coordinator of the government's support towards alleviating the challenges facing the scheme in the State. He said "the NYSC is very dear to Mr Governor. This reflects in the caliber of people he sends to represent him at  NYSC programmes.
"your request has been taken to the appropriate quarters and I am sure Mr Governor is fully aware of your challenges. Mr Governor is not  impulsive but he painstakingly studies things and issues in order to proffer lasting solutions to them.
"therefore NYSC should be hopeful because Mr Governor does not joke with the scheme in the State" he added.
