SERVICOM CDS VISITS BANK OF INDUSTRY

The Servicom Community Development Service group of the National Youth Service Corps, Oshogbo Local Government on Thursday, 23rd of May, 2019, paid a courtesy visit to the Bank Of Industry, Osogbo, Osun State
The bank Manager, Emmanuel Ojowuro speaking on their partnership with NYSC said the Bank of Industry supported by CBN and Ministry of Finance has been structured to be sustainable as BOI will be 60 by the end of this year.
Emmanuel advised the corps members to start thinking of businesses and services to render to generate income before their service year ends and he urged them to always render quality service.
Also addressing the corps members, Mrs Oluwatoyin Ojo spoke on the benefits of Graduate entrepreneurship Fund (GEF) form given to corps members without interest which helps one to access up to 2 million naira to start up a business. She advised the corp members to think of what they can offer that is unique from the other businesses.
The CDS President, Benson Endurance, while appreciating the manager and staff of BOI expressed the importance of a Servicom Officer in an organisation in empowering public officers to be alert to their responsibilities. "In every Organization there should be a Service unit or servcom officer who will be trained about what the organization is all about" he added.
