One Girl, One Pad", Osun Corps Members Chants

Females have been encouraged to make use of sanitary pads, in order to maintain a proper and healthy hygiene.

This was brought to the fore, during a campaign program by corps members of the Editorial Community Development Service group, to sensitize females in Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas on the need to maintain a heathy hygiene with the use of sanitary pads in a menstrual flow.

The campaign manager, Miss Ofon Emmanuel stressed that the campaign, which is aimed at reaching over 500 females in Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas respectively, centered on the promotion of menstrual hygiene and the distribution of sanitary pads to females in both local governments.

She noted that the project stemmed out of increased health issues caused by poor menstrual hygiene amongst young females, hence the need to educate the girl child on the proper use of sanitary pads as well stop the use of other unhealthy menstrual absorbent for menstrual flow by young females.
