CORPS MEMBERS ENLIGHTEN STUDENTS ON EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE
As part of measures to fighting examination malpractice which contributes to corruption activities in the country, members of the Anti-Corruption Community Development Service have sensitized students of Mapo Middle School, CAC Middle School and Timi Agbaje High School all in Ede, Osun State.
Speaking at the sensitization, president of the CDS, Agboola Najimudeen said examnation malpractice is a cankerworm in the educational system of the country and if not curbed might cause the fight against corruption difficult to be won.
He attributed different causes to examination malpractice while stating that the menace can come in form of Lying, Sabotage and Cheating which is the common form in the educational sector.
According to him, examination malpractice can have adverse effect on the student and the society at large some of which he enumerated as Bribery, Certificate Racketeering, Low productivity and poor job performance, amongst others.
Agboola then urged the students to desist from all forms of exam malpractices by scheduling their time rightly, discovering their study skill and praying after reading.
