ATTAH GIFTS PPR UNIT A PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM
The outgoing state coordinator, Emmanuel Attah has gifted the Press and Public Relations Unit a super tech portable BT speaker with wireless mic as a parting gift.
Attah, who according to him wanted to ensure the unit was fully equipped to carry out her assignments smoothly, especially during the forthcoming orientation.
The PA system has a receiver distance of 50meters with microphone precedence, 200w power and wireless receiver 220MHz-330MHz.
While receiving the PA system, the Assistant Director PPRU, Funmi Okundaye appreciated Mr Attah for the thoughtful gesture stating that it was rare to see an outgoing executive going out of his way to ensure he leaves the state better equipped than he met it.
Okundaye further appreciated the SC for gifting the unit a brand new HP desk top for ease of secretarial work of the unit recently.
Attah the 11th chief executive officer of the scheme who assumed duty in January, 2017 has brought about a lot of innovations and infrastructural development in the state. These include: construction of a modern 4-bedroom,16-bed clinic, a bakery with the state of the art equipments, newly constructed hostel for corps members, garri processing unit, renovation of camp admin blocks and hostels, installation of CCTV cameras and intercoms, computerisation of the camp clinic, introduction of the annual award/gala nite, introduction of novelty match during orientation course(which comprises of service chiefs, journalists and other friends of the scheme in the state), maintainance of a very clean camp before, during and after orientation programmes, good welfare packages for staff, among others.
Based on his impeccable record of selfless service, he was elevated and transferred to the National Directorate Headquarters in May, 2019 by the Director General of
NYSC, Brig. Gen. S. Ibrahim.
