PET CDS SENSITIZES CHILDREN

The Pet community Development Service Group of the National Youth Service Corps, Olorunda Local Government carried out a sensitization program for children on Monday, 29th of April, 2019.
The program was held at Abiye Orphanage and Motherless Babies home where the president of the CDS group, Fashina Oluwadamilare spoke on the topic The Power in You to children between the ages 4 to 15.
Fashina inspired the children saying that they hold the power to be who they want to be in life. He added that hardwork, dedication and an optimistic mind are necessary qualities the children should possess in their journey through life.
He said, "kids dream big, work hard towards achieving your dream, pray and hope unto God and nothing will stop you i assure you."
On her part, Opakunle Aminat spoke to the kids on personal hygiene teaching them to be clean urging the females to ensure they live a clean and healthy lifestyle.
The CDS group presented gifts and other items to the home which were warmly received.
