Mrs. Caroline teaches Corps Members Yoruba
Mrs. Caroline Adenle, the head of lectures, tutored the 2019 Batch 'A' corps members on Yoruba language at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede. She stressed on the importance of Yoruba language for easy communication with the people of the host communities in the State.
She went further to teach corps members basic Yoruba greetings such as : “Ekaaro oo” which means “Good morning”, “Ekaasun oo” which means “Good afternoon”, “Ekurole oo” which means “Good evening” and “Ekale oo” which means “Good night”.
She taught corps members some parts of the body such as: “Ori” meaning “head”, “Oju” meaning “ eyes”, “Imu” meaning “nose” and “Enu” meaning “mouth”.
The lecture was concluded with a practical exercise on the day’s lesson from corps members who were randomly selected.
