STATE COORDINATOR URGES INDIGENES TO PRIORITISE WELLBEING OF CORPS MEMBERS

The osun state coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Mr Emmanuel Attah, has called on indigenes and eligible voters in the state to see the safety of corps members as their utmost priority during forthcoming elections.
Mr.Attah made the call during a stakeholders' meeting at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osogbo, the state capital.
In his address, Mr Attah said that the corps members employed as Ad-hoc staff must be protected, stressing that Nysc will not condone any form of harassment or intimidation on it's members.
The number one corps member in the state therefore urged the public to treat members under the scheme as their children and see it as an obligation in ensuring their well-being during the election.He however reaffirmed Nysc commitment to ensure that corps members perform their duty diligently.
The State coordinator therefore, urged corps members to be fully kitted and be in possession of their identity cards for easy identification.
