Mr Danjuma gave the warning during his  visit at Olorunda local government.

While addressing the corps members,Attah state that on no account should corps members accept any item from politicians, strangers and members of the public.

He said items taking by members of the scheme will be seen as inducement by electorates which will not project the image Nysc.

The NYSC has collaborated well with INEC, and conducted successful elections in the past, and this time around we are ready to conduct a successful exercise. so I plead with you not to destroy the reputation of NYSC, anyone caught will be prosecuted.

"You are expected to be neutral, whether your father or your uncle is a candidate of any of the political parties; the moment you are on this uniform you have no business with them. They are unknown to you. Do not accept money from anyone or do anything in favour of any political party."

Mr Danjuma stated that corps members should ensure safety first during the polls,

He said: "Your Identity cards must be on you.Ensure your phones are recharged with enough airtime; be armed with pocket notes and have the phone numbers of your local government inspectors and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs). We assure you that your safety is ensured.

He added"Peradventure there is any problem, protect yourself first and report to the nearest police station.
"The security operatives will all be deployed during the exercise.

"Never drag anything with anybody. Any corps member that violates the law having been warned, would be prosecuted."

He noted that, during the discharge of duties at the polls, no corps member should go home with any election materials, even in the cause of violence.

The state coordinator charged that members of the  scheme should exhibit high level of discipline and endeavor to participate fully in NYSC activities.

Attah stated that corps members should ensure proper dressing and shun any act of violence and misbehaviour in discharge of duties at their primary assignments.

He also urged them to carry out community development services in the state which is one of the cardinal objectives of the scheme.

The Nysc boss in the state, encouraged that corps members should not forsake personal projects in the various communities  they are posted, as he has so far seen few files on his desk as regarding personal projects.

He  said, corps members should ensure full participation in U-report scheme.
