GOVERNOR OYETOLA TO CORPS MEMBERS:SEE YOUR MOBILIZATION AS A CLARION CALL

Governor, State of Osun, Mr.Gboyega Oyetola,has pledged his commitment in ensuring  sustainable and conducive environment to corps members deployed to the state for the one year mandatory National youth service corps.

The governor disclosed this during the closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch C' stream two NYSC  orientation course in Ede,State of Osun.

Mr.Oyetola,in his goodwill address, applauded the batch C' stream two corps members for the successful completion of the three weeks course,stating that their perseverance and courage  made them repelled the three weeks regimented camp life, which is the first phase of their service year.

He therefore, encouraged them to see their mobilization as a Clarion call and an opportunity to make their host communities a better place for it's habitants.

He also used the occasion to reiterate  his readiness to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor, by ensuring the regular payment of state allowances to corps members deployed to the state.

Earlier,the state coordinator Mr.Danjuma Attah,in his remarks,congratulated the governor on his victory in state gubernatorial election, as he was excited to see him perform what was designed as his first official assignment since he assumed office.

Mr.Attah, however,appealed to the state government to assist in the completion of the four hundred bed capacity hostel that is under construction at the Nysc camp, which is geared towards attracting more corps members in the state,so as to actualize their goal.

He therefore, assured the state of the willingness of Nysc in maintaining it's  integrity in the forthcoming general election nationwide,and warned desperate politicians that Nysc will not tolerate any form of intimidation on corps members all in the name of polical thuggery,as their  safety is paramount to the scheme.

Awards were also presented to security personnels,Nysc officials, platoon coordinators, and serving corps members,who contributed greatly in camp activities.
