The Community Development Service is no doubt one of the four cardinal points of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), set aside for everyone serving under the scheme to take part and contribute their parts in nation building.
This was displayed as the Peer Educator Trainer (PET) CDs group, in Olorunda Local Government Area, took to the street to sensitize, educate, and create awareness on HIV/AIDs and other health related issues in the society.
Speaking during campaign, the President of the CDs group Mr.Adebayo Adekoyo, noted that it is important as human, to always visit near by clinics or hospital for proper check up that will enable them
know their health status in order to avert sicknesses and other deadly diseases.
The corps members came out in their numbers with placats, written with various inscriptions, in the fight against HIV/AIDS, and gave free medical check-up to habitants and pedestrians along Ajegunle and Igbonu axis.
