DISCHARGE YOUR DUTIES WITH DILLIGENCE: OLORUNDA L.G.I TO CORPS MEMBERS
BY: PAUL OKIKIA
The Local Government Inspector of the National Youth Service Corps Olorunda Chapter Mr. Adediran Johnson has charged the newly elected Presidents and other executives in all the Community Development Service groups to discharge their duties with all diligence as they assume office.
Mr. Johnson gave the charge at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Presidents of the various CDS groups at the Olorunda multipurpose hall. The L.G.I while addressing Presidents applauded the outgoing executives who served in different capacities during their service year. He however urged the incoming Presidents to consolidate on the achievements of the past administration in order to get meaningful developments.
Mr. Johnson also used the forum to advise the 2018 Batch B corps members on the "Dos and don'ts" of the NYSC. He stated that on no account should any serving Corp member travel out of the state without permission from the right channels of the NYSC.
The L.G.I further encouraged corps members to always maintain cordial relationships with their employers and warned that the skill acquisition programme organized by NYSC should not be used as an excuse by Corps members to absent themselves from their Primary Places of Assignment.
