DO NOT RELOCATE - ADERIGBIGBE TELLS CORPS MEMBERS.
The Retired Director Press and Public Relations, NDHQ Abuja, Mrs Abosede Aderigbigbe paid a visit to the 2018 Batch 'B' corps members at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Thursday, 9th August. Aderigbigbe, while addressing the members, encouraged them to be of good conduct throughout the service year and to see the state as home.
She enjoined them to settle down and make the best of the resources and opportunities in the state describing the state as a peaceful one with great opportunities. Using herself as an example, she called on those who applied for relocation to have a rethink as their posting to the state was inline with the scheme's mandate of reintegrating the nation as one.
Mrs. Abosede further enjoined them to desist from night parties, frivolous outings and journeys. She charged them to instead plan for the future by imbibing a saving culture and also learning a skill which is capable of making them self reliant during and after the service year.
In addition, Mrs Aderigbigbe emphasized on the nonpartisan nature of the scheme which has birthed the collaboration between NYSC and INEC. She further stressed on the need for the corps members not to meddle with politics and politicians especially during the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated to take place soon in the state.
