ROHR RINGS CHANGES AS SIMEON, EBUEHI MAKES WORLD CUP BOW

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr as expectedly wilded the big stick ahead of his side must win game against debutants Iceland in Volgograd this afternoon making no fewer than four changes to his squad.
The Franco-German whose team came under criticism for their not too impressive outing against Croatia last Saturday as expectedly handed experience left back Elderson Echiejile his world cup bow after he missed the last edition through injury whilst right back Tyrone Ebuehi is also expected to start in place of Abdullahi Shehu.
Despite returning from injury to feature in Nigeria's last two matches midfielder Wilfred Ndidi drops to the bench in favour of Ogenyi Onazi while captain John Obi Mikel continues in his number 10 role for the eagles'.
With Nigeria needing to score goals against the Icelanders Rohr as also decided to hand a rare start to striker Simeon Nwankwo to partner Odion Ighalo with Victor Moses also retaining his place in the squad.

The Super Eagles will take on Iceland in a must win clash at the Volgograd Arena by 4pm Nigerian time with their destiny fully in their hands following their opening day defeat to Croatia in Kaliningrad.
